A root long known across the Caribbean islands as "Strongback" — carried by dockhands and old salts alike who wanted their backs and their stamina to hold up through a hard day's labour at sea.
Traditional use: Strongback root is traditionally used in Caribbean folk herbalism to support bone and back strength, stamina and general energy.
How it's brewed: boil a tablespoon of the herb in 2 cups of spring water for 5 minutes, simmer for 15 minutes, strain, and drink 2 cups per day.
This product is a traditional herbal item and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Always consult a healthcare professional before use, particularly if pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication.
Note to crew: several different plants are traded under the common name "Strongback" (candidates include Morinda royoc, Cuphea parsonsia and Desmodium incanum) and sources disagree on which is which — both the exact species and this listing's image are flagged for manual review.
Ship's Terms: Shipments within the U.K sail via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Shipments beyond our shores sail via Royal Mail® International Tracked, 3-6 days to port. Take heed: this crew sails from the U.K. Any cargo bound for foreign shores may be boarded by customs and charged duties or taxes on arrival — that toll be yours to pay, not ours. Chart your own country's import rules via the Department for International Trade before ye order. On overcharges: should your bank statement show a sum heavier than the price at the till, know this be no trickery — the Pound often outweighs the Dollar and other currencies, so what lands on your statement may run higher than what you saw at checkout. Our thanks for your understanding, shipmate. Every delivery must be signed for upon arrival. No refunds be given once the goods have set sail.
