This segmented temperature controlled furnace is built for jewelry casting work: metal melting, wax burnout and mold baking in one machine. A PID-based digital control system runs the heating through five programmed stages, taking the chamber from room temperature up to 900°C before cooling to 780°C for inverted mold casting.
The furnace uses a silicon oxide-lined interior with resistance wire heating, reaching 800°C in around 30 minutes, and a three-layer insulated construction for safer operation. An exhaust port and a wax vent and collection system help manage fumes and melted wax during burnout cycles.
It's suited to jewelry studios and workshops doing plaster mold baking and metal casting, and comes with the pliers and accessories needed to get started.
