Purple Seamoss — 1kg (Bulk)

The same purple seamoss gathered from warmer tropical shallows, now in a full 1kg cask for a crew who go through their tonics fast.

Traditional use: Purple seamoss is traditionally used in folk herbalism as a mineral-rich tonic to support bone, joint and general wellbeing.

How it's used: Soak in spring water for 2 hours, discard the soaking water and rinse well. Simmer in fresh spring water for 15 minutes, then blend with the cooking water into a gel (walnuts, banana, ginger or dates can be blended in too). Store in sealed glass jars, refrigerated, for up to a month — stir into drinks or use topically as a face mask. This bulk 1kg cask is best portioned into smaller jars for storage.
