Blue Vervain

Traditional use: Blue Vervain (Verbena hastata) is traditionally used in folk herbalism to support the nervous system and to promote calm and restful sleep, and has traditionally been used by nursing mothers to support milk production.

How it's brewed: boil half a palm of the herb in 2 cups of spring water for 5 minutes, simmer for 15 minutes until the water turns brown, strain, and drink 2 cups daily — one on rising, one before bed.
